Your kiosk PIN is the number you enter on the workplace time-clock tablet to clock in and out. You can see it and change it yourself, any time.
Where to find your PIN
- Mobile app — open the Payrollix app, go to Profile, and tap Time-Clock PIN.
- Web — sign in to the employee portal and open Profile; your PIN is in the Time-clock kiosk PIN card.
Your PIN is hidden by default. Tap the eye icon to reveal it. Only you can see your own PIN — no one else, including your manager, can view it; they can only reset it.
If you got an email about your PIN
If you received an email saying your time-clock PIN is ready, that means one has been set up for you. The email doesn't contain the PIN — open your Payrollix app and look under Profile → Time-Clock PIN to see it.
Changing your PIN
On the same screen, choose Change PIN, enter a new PIN twice, and save. A few things to know:
- Your PIN must be the length your employer uses — either 4 or 6 digits. The screen tells you which.
- PINs are unique within your company. If you pick one that's already taken, you'll be asked to choose a different number — just like picking a username.
Your new PIN works at the kiosk right away.
Keep it private
Because your PIN is all it takes to clock in as you, don't share it. If you think someone else knows it, change it from the same screen.
